Page & Screen: TV Writers and the Comic Novel

A showcase of authors who straddle the line between television and literature, Page & Screen features writers who make you laugh on both the page and the screen. The program will consist of short readings by the writers, followed by a conversation moderated by Paul Constant, books editor for The Stranger. Page & Screen features Simon Rich, author of Elliot Allagash: A Novel as well as a writer for Saturday Night Live. Steve Hely, author of How I Became a Famous Novelist and contributing writer for 30 Rock, American Dad, and The Late Show with David Letterman. Seth Greenland, author of Shining City: A Novel, and current writer for The Office, who has also written for The Late Show with David Letterman, and 30 Rock. Maria Semple, author of This One Is Mine who has written for Arrested Development and Beverly Hills 90210.
